Happy Thanksgiving! I can hardly believe it's here. This has certainly been a special month for me. I truly immersed myself in gratitude and I’ve been uplifted from this experience. I remember hearing many years ago, the positive change one goes through when writing in a gratitude journal; it’s as if there’s a transformation of sorts to one's soul.
I've found that when I am grateful, I have peace, too. Finding and keeping peace has been an ongoing, lifelong pursuit for me. But I am grateful that just by the simple act of recognizing the blessings in my life, I do find peace. The Lord has blessed me so much, I am forever grateful for His love, guidance, and even the challenges I’ve had. Recognizing my blessings keeps me focused on my priorities, it keeps me humble, and it makes me happy. I guess you could say I am grateful for gratitude.
I am grateful for these 27 days of thanksgiving and the opportunity to write about my gratitude. Thank you for visiting my blog to read and share with me! I know I've enjoyed this opportunity to reflect and define my feelings in a new, memorable way. Now I’m off to make a gratitude album!
