Just as I thought, we’ve spent 31 days looking at ways to use some of the Art Philosophy cartridge’s versatile Cricut shapes, but there are still so many left! Oh well, I can’t have all the fun – I’m sure you all are using your Cricut machines to experiment on the other 669 shape options that we haven’t even touched on.
Today’s artwork showcases a different way of using the Cricut shapes. We’ve looked at shapes that have been stamped with coordinating images, and shapes that have covered coordinating Dimensional Element shapes, but today’s cut shape doesn’t even appear on the artwork! Instead the circle shape has served as a mask to create a unique background using the spray pen.
Shape instructions: Cut the circle by pressing the far left button on the top row with your size set at 2 1/4". Remember, you can use the “Autofill” function on your Cricut machine to cut as many as will fit on your paper.
