It snowed at my house over the weekend, really putting me in a festive mood! I found myself reaching for a none-too-traditional holiday color combination that you’ll also find in our adorable “Jingle” paper pack and Level 1 scrapbooking kit in our Autumn/ Winter Idea Book. It features Tulip, Juniper, Crème Brulee, and a good dose of White Daisy. Although you may have seen this dashing color combo before, the project made with it is as fresh as the new fall en snow.
It’s a take on the True Fit Folio, transformed into an adorable 6”x6” mini album. It would make a great gift (hint hint)! Here’s how the project comes together. I've included the pattern to make it easy for you. Enjoy the project—it’s sure to put you in a jolly mood, too!
TRUE FIT FOLIO 6”x6” ALBUM
1. Cut True Fit Folio in half so you have two 6” x 24” pieces.
2. Score the piece with the tab every 6”.
3. With the tab on the top left, fold the last 6” section on the right side in, cut at an angle and adhere the bottom and left side to create a pocket.
4. On the remaining 6” x 24” piece, keep folded. Insert the fold into the paper trimmer, with the fold at 5 7/8” trim through both layers of paper.
5. Place original True Fit Folio seams together and adhere with ribbon.
6. Cover with paper and embellish as desired.

This would make a great Christmas planner. (maybe that is how it is intended) This will be the perfect thing to make for myself and my sisters to get organized for Black Friday Shopping. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is GREAT, Jeanette!
ReplyDeleteCan I ask what you used for the small calendar? Is it one of the reitred stamp sets or from the computer?
TIA!
SMiles,
Amy

ReplyDeleteThank You for the "gift" idea. Can't wait to try it out. Appreciate all that you do for us consultants.
ReplyDeleteyou are SO amazing!!!! LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteFor the calendar I used in the “planner,” I glued a 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” square (with edges corner rounded) and added small 1/2 “ squares, stamped the dates using Sans Alphabet (C1304) and added freehanded outlining with a My Legacy Writer. The days of the week were printed from the Expressives Font CD Volume II, type face Girlfriends. The months were stamped using the Monthly Word Puzzles November (D1312) and December (D1313).
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I'm not getting how you fold it together?? It looks like there are 3 sections (where'd the 4th go??) and there are pages on the right 2 sections?? Can you post a video on your blog, pretty please?
