Question: My question is not what you love about the Art Philosophy collection, but did you really not own a Cricut machine before? And does corporate now own hundreds to cut out all those awesome projects for our create 'n' takes? --submitted by Stampin n da Hood, August 28, 1:54 pm
Answer: I have owned a number of die-cutting machines, punches, dies, and more over the years, it's true! Although we didn't have any Cricuts in the office prior to our development of the Art Philosophy Cricut collection, I have had a few items at home. I've always believed that it's important for me to know what's happening in the industry, because although I love Close To My Heart products, I recognize that there is a lot of innovation and inspiration out there. No ostrich ever gets ahead by sticking its head in the sand!
It was through careful evaluation and use of lots of different products that I ultimately, unequivocally knew the Cricut was the right way for us to go. And yes, we now have a flock of Cricuts chirping away in our art studio, creating all kinds of great artwork!

I'm sure that is a great sound :) I have had my cricut for four years but have not used it nearly as much in those four years as I have since getting our cartridge a month ago! I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear!
ReplyDeleteThanks for answering, Jeanette!
I just recently purchased a Cricut in the spring and now with the Close to My Heart cartridge I am off and running with both. I am so happy I can now share my love for things Cricut and my love for Close to My Heart together - again thank you for the cartridge!
ReplyDeleteI still don't have the Cricut. I sold my little Cricut and bought a sillouette when Close to my Heart came out with the font CD's.... haven't used it as much as I should, so buying the cricut isn't high on hubby's list of probably purchases... That is what I get for making him CFO
