Question: If you could give your children or grandchildren one word of advice or wisdom, what would it be? --submitted by Heather, August 26, 8:45 pm
Answer: BELIEVE.
Does that seem hokey? I hope not, because belief is how I choose to live my life, and I hope my children and grandchildren follow suit.
I would tell them to believe in themselves—they can do anything, even when others tell them it is impossible.
Believe in the power and love their Heavenly Father has for them; He will always be there to guide, support, and comfort them, no matter the challenge.
And believe in the goodness of others—people will rally for and root for you; being kind to others is the one gift we can give to every soul we encounter. And when someone reciprocates kindness to you, when you need it but least expect it, well, that just makes life worth living.

ReplyDeleteYour one word is absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful post! Great message for everyone!
ReplyDeleteLove that you say Believe, it is such a powerful word! I have it tattoo'd on my left shoulder in a banner on a heart filled with a ranbow... so it will be with me always! I also have Believe and Dream in many places in my home. Just one more reason I love working with you Jeanette ~ so much we both love...another is your fondness of butterflies! :)
