With Christmas less than two months away, now is the perfect time to start getting your holiday craft ideas underway. The mistletoe leaves on the Art Philosophy cartridge are the perfect way to dress up any card, tag, goodie box, layout, or other holiday project. And yep, you’ll find coordinating stamp images on the A Holiday stamp set (A1115).
So in love with the little french fry box. I just used my cricut this past Saturday to make those holly leaves and berries. Love it! And I'm getting better at stamping on those pre-cut images. Takes a little practice.

ReplyDeleteCarolyn Johnson made the cutst pins using the fry box. She is amazing. The boxes were no bigger than 2" total.
ReplyDeleteHi Janette - I am loving your Shape-A-Day posts, however is there somewhere on your blog where you have tips on printing other shapes. I am trying to cut the fry box and I thought 3" would be good and it's not it's so teeny tiny. All the borders like the alphabet or stars will only cut up to 1 3/4" which is too small for a 12x12 scrapbook. I love Art Philosophy, but would love to have a tip sheet on the cuts.

Theresa: The fry box is measured from top to bottom so if you put in 3” that is the size it will cut, not the size of the finished product. Calculate the size based on the unfolded version of the box, not the finished product. As far as the borders go, the Cricut cannot cut in 12” but you can cut two smaller ones and put them together (that is what I do) or you can log onto Cricut Craftroom and weld them together or resize them to the size you need.
