Shape-a-Day: Day 4

These whimsical little dragonflies bring a fresh, summer feel to today’s featured artwork, and they are a perfect example of a base shape being accented by a layer shape. It has never been so easy to achieve such a great effect!

Shape instructions: Set size to 1 ¾” for the larger dragonfly and 1 ¼” for the smaller. For the base shape, push shift and then the fourth button on the top row. For the layer, push the “layer” feature key, shift, and then the same key. Page 24 in your booklet.

    Love your instructions for creating these projects. So helpful! I finally played with my cricut cartridge for the 2nd time yesterday and had it on for like 5 hours. I got a little carried away, but I cut out 5 different shapes for one layout (banner, tree, leaves, title, and journal shape). I'm going to teach a class this weekend with these products, and am so amazed at how much work the cricut has saved me. Wow! Love it!

    How will this work with the Personal Cutter, which only measures in 1/2 increments after 2 inches ?
