G'day, Mate?

QUESTION: One of my customers lives in Australia and is just dying to join Close To My Heart. At least a couple times a year she asks if I have heard anything on CTMH going international. What do you think? --Submitted by Keeley Kirwan

And a similar submission from "Landi": Hello, Jeanette from the land down under. I am the Australian customer that is constantly asking when CTMH is coming to Australia that Keeley Kirwan talks about. When I found out that I could ask you directly through this blog, I thought all my prayers had been answered so here is my question to you, Jeanette: isn't it about time you expanded your CTMH wings and come to Australia?

ANSWER: Well, to both of you, I admire your persistence, enthusiasm, and sheer love of Close To My Heart (three excellent qualities in a person, if I do say so myself!). Please e-mail me at me@jeanettelynton.com with your choice of a stamp set or paper packet that I can send you as thanks for your questions. Now, to see if I can properly answer!

Anyone who knows me or who has heard me address the topic of going international knows that it's something that gets my heart beating. I so believe in the unique mission and purpose of Close To My Heart and have long believed that others all around the world would benefit from what we have to offer. As with everything, it's all about the right time, the right approach, the right products, the right investment.

Although I can't promise you if and when Close To My Heart will be opening new markets, I can tell you that we are investigating the business model closely, including Australia operations. In fact, we'll be attending the Australia Scrapbook and Papercraft Convention in Brisbane this June -- Landi, if you're in the neighborhood (or if any readers are!) we'd love to have you stop by the booth and make a Create 'n' Take project or attend a presentation or workshop. It will be the first time CTMH products have ever been shown in Australia and we are excited to gauge the response!

  1. That is so exciting! It would be wonderful if CTMH spread to more English-speaking countries. Then the next step, of course, would be to take over the world! Go, Jeanette!

  7. I'm totally tickled pink over this question and post Jeanette. I have quite a few friends down under so I will have to share this.
I'm always amazed at the wings we spread when we soar. Your vision and philosophy is what brought me to CTMH and as many years as I've posted about it to all of my international friends this is going to end up being overwhelmingly exciting when it comes to fruition. I just love you sooo much. I Love CTMH too. I think that is what helps to set apart as I'm completely oblivious to other markets or craft things. So much to do with what we have and more. HUGS from ID.

AS you can see CTMH has already started to gather quite the following here in Australia and I am working on expanding the CTMH family over here, I can guarantee that I will be at the Convention, in fact I am already booking my flights and accomodation as I type this reply to you. See you all in Brisbane.
