Spotlight on Art: Show Love with Florentine

It is my pleasure today to share more artwork submitted by a simply wonderful Close To My Heart Consultant and artist. Brenda Rose has created a variety of wonderful pieces using the Florentine paper pack. The warm colors and simple patterns perfectly complement the tender subject matter she has taken for her artwork. Particularly in this first page that she created as a tribute to her grandmother:

The page’s single photo is able to hold the focus of this artwork because of the beautiful accents and embellishments Brenda has employed—including shapes from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, stamping, wood shapes and more. What a great eye Brenda has for detail and balance; and what a loving tribute this page is.

Next up is this lovely My Creations Memory Game, embellished and used as a container for some of the Rose family’s favorite scripture verses. Again, the warm colors, and the subdued patterns come together in a piece of artwork that is perfect for the quiet, contemplative mood that this box is meant to invoke. And of course a few Art Philosophy 3-D flowers round things out very nicely.

Lastly, Brenda submitted a pair of cards that she created with loved ones in mind:

As Brenda pointed out in her email to me, cards made with such care and attention to detail as these ones were become more than just cards—they become special gifts that are definitely worth saving.
