Ready to learn something else unusual about the life of Jeanette Lynton? I can't believe I'm sharing this, but…one of my favorite pastimes happens in bed. And before you go raising your eyebrows or jumping to conclusions, let me clarify: my daughter Rachel, moved out to live with friends and roommates this year. When she comes home to visit, I'm just delighted to hear everything happening in her life. We typically adjourn to my master bedroom and flop on my giant, comfortable bed. Once the download is done, we both love defending the world—from zombies. That's right, Rachel and I love playing "Plants vs. Zombies" together on our respective iPads.
We squeal, we laugh, and we talk (believe it or not) all while zombies attack. It is mindless, rejuvenating, connecting FUN, and it is literally our favorite thing to do together. So, there's my confession: Plants vs. Zombies. What's your favorite guilty pleasure app or game?

ReplyDeleteMy mindless guilty app is Bejewled Blitz on my IPad. I tried it on my phone but the jewels are too small for my fingers so I just play it on my IPad when I need to veg out for a little bit.

I can't believe you shared this...lol! I love to play "Book Worm" by the same company that makes Plants vs Zombies...in bed just like you! I would sneak and "borrow " one of my sons Nintendo 3DS off their recharging craddles after they were asleep to play it. For christmas I splurged and bought my own. Plants vs zombies is a great game!
