Hello everyone, and welcome to a brand new year! Though some might say it is no real difference, the first days of a new year always feel so refreshing and full of promise. I, for one, am looking forward to the year ahead with excitement and anticipation! I can think of no better way to ring in the new year than with some artwork.
This 3-D purse from the Cricut Artiste cartridge is just another reason that I love that cartridge. There are so many fun ways to embellish and beautify all the 3-D projects. Here the artist has used some stitching, some rosettes cut from the Colonial White Rosette Ribbon, some spray-pen masking, buttons, and even a hook & loop closure at the top of the handle to keep the purse closed.
I’d like to end this post with this spunky card and envelope. You can easily replicate the fun flower that is affixed directly over the opening of this card with the Cricut. Just cut the same flower image out of three different papers, glue them together at the center, and then gently curl the petals upward. The end result is fun layered dimension.

That scrapbook page is precious. Love the stitching details and the title is really neat. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love the Dakota paper as an envelope liner! Adorable! I am going to use that idea soon in a card I plan to mail out West! Thank you for the idea. :)
