Have you enjoyed learning more about Studio J from the Digital Delights winners? I know I have! One of the best ways to learn more about how to build your business is from other Consultants, and these ones know what they are talking about.
Today I will be spotlighting Louise Hauck-Chinn from Humboldt, Iowa. Louise’s love for Studio J shines through her responses to the questions. Take a look!
Q: What do you love most about Studio J?
A: So easy and no mess! I take a lot of pictures and want to use them all. With Studio J, I can use any number or size of the photos with no additional cost. I also love that my little great nieces and nephews can help in placing stickers and picking paper colors with me. They love sitting down with the work-in-progress albums and looking at their own pictures and especially telling their story as to what was going on. I am so happy they like to see the albums because then when I ask to take their pictures, they want to know if it will be going in their book. What a great and fun memory they have with me making their books. I have just started using the awesome Express Collections also. They are so easy!
Q: What do you do with your layouts after you’ve created them? Do you put them in albums, frame them, share them digitally, give them as gifts, etc.?
A: I am currently making albums for my 11 great nieces and nephews (under the age of 4). My new mother-in-law, really enjoys her work in progress layouts; and of course all my own events and trips. Including my own wedding photos from 12-12-12.
Q: What are some specific tips and tricks that you have learned in Studio J?
A: I love that I can change any kit colors to coordinate with my photos. I did that with my roses pictures from my wedding. I used the Dakota kit but changed the colors of some of the B&T papers to Cranberry. I also really like highlighting with stitching. It works great to use the stitched heart to highlight a mom and baby in a photo for example. It is so easy to add stickers and make them fit. I especially love that you can change journal boxes for photos as I have too many photos. And I’m so happy that we will be able to add additional photo wells very soon. Studio J is incredibly versatile!
Q: How do you get your customers interested in Studio J?
A: I point out how easy it is and how little time it takes to make lots of layouts, especially for young and busy moms. No mess on the table for the kidos to get into supplies. A busy mom can do her layouts anywhere with whatever time she has. Photos can load while fixing dinner, then she can complete a quick layout, especially with the Express Collections available. It’s so much easier to get caught up! I have shown many people how easy it is to do a trip or event album quickly when you have lots of photos. The variety of paper packets and patterns make it so that you can get the right look to fit any event. Showing customers how nice the layouts look really helps too; you can’t know how great Studio J layouts are until you see a finished, printed one. Customers feel the pages and are quite impressed that the embellishing looks dimensional. Those ribbons and brads seem to pop off the page! And yet they were able to complete the layout in a fraction of the time classic scrapbooking would take—you can’t beat that!
Louise, your advice has been invaluable! Thank you for sharing your great insights into how to use and sell Studio J. If you would like to shop with Louise, you can do so on her OBA at louise.ctmh.com or visit her Facebook page to learn more about her.
