Although the weather was stormy, nothing could dampen our enthusiasm for delicious food and great company at Close To My Heart's fourth annual "Lynton Burger Day"! David and Sven braved the elements at the grill, and we moved the festivities indoors. Folks still enjoyed "burgers as big as your head" and great camaraderie as we ate in several shifts throughout the early afternoon.
I love this celebration--and the delicious burgers, as you can tell--because it's a great time to thank all the wonderful Close To My Heart employees for making our annual Convention so successful. While only a few of our corporate staff work the event, it definitely takes EVERYONE'S effort at the home office to make Convention the memorable party that it is! This tradition is a great way to share our thanks for a job well done, often with a burger that's well done, too!
