Wow! This past week has been so exciting for me: every morning and every night I check my blog and I’m thrilled and astounded by the number of terrific comments you’ve all been posting about your passion for paper. I’ve read every single comment! It’s fun for me to see which paper collections are your favorites and why. Choosing just one is tough, like choosing your favorite chocolate, as one poster commented. You’ve inspired me to go back and revisit some of my favorites: hooray, “Elegant Bouquet,” one of the longest-running paper packs ever at Close To My Heart, and “Route 66” and “Just Chillin’”… and so many more! Keep them coming! I’ll draw 5 winners at random at the beginning of next week and notify the winners of the NEW paper packs.
And in case you were wondering, I have been doing more this week than checking in on the blog: my executive team and I have been engaged in our annual strategic planning session. We take three days, stacks of spreadsheets, Power Points, projections, and ideas and head to Park City to finalize our goals and strategies for the coming year. I have to say that this has been one of our most energizing sessions ever! We have some incredible campaigns coming up, new products I can’t wait to show you, and a Leadership event this coming summer that will knock your socks off. And of course, we have a few huge surprises planned that will keep Close To My Heart the innovative, fun company you expect. What a great 2009 it’s going to be. Stay tuned!

Oh my heavens...you are quite a tease! Will you be "spilling the beans" on any of these amazing ideas during Album Retreat? Leadership...oh how quickly July will be here and the joy of seeing everyone in sunny San Diego! See you in January!

So will there ever be in the makes a stamp set that features saltwater fish like Wahoo, Marlin, Dolphin, and Sailfish? I have looked everywhere and there are none of these species! From coast to coast we have these fish and also need great sayings that go with them like Fish On!, and things of that sort!

ReplyDeleteI moved to India in 2005 but have been a savvy scrapbooker since 2003 and I simply love your products.. I keep wondering why can't you open up a CTMH in India.. I am really interested to know if you would consider expanding your business to a fast-developing country like India? If not, kindly state the reason.

Wow, I love seeing your artwork. I kinda got busy with my dd's surgery and forgot to check last week but I'm blown away by the acrylic album. Is there a way to subscribe to your blog (rather than trying to remember to check it)?
ReplyDeleteI just broke my foot and have been looking for get well stamps..do we have any "legs in a cast" or bandages stamps? If not I thnk it would be a great idea :)

ReplyDeleteOh, to be a fly on the wall at that planning meeting... I'm like a kid at Christmas - I can't WAIT to find out what's under that tree, but then the anticipation is so much fun, I never want the season to end!

My favorite paper changes with each Idea Book. (Elegant Bouquet is one of my all time favs.) Who designs them? I'm looking forward to having my socks blown off at Phoenix regionals!

Mixed with the snowman I have made both cards and trying to make 12x12 page but house is up for sale and most everything is packed. I'm having withdralls! ReplyDeleteMy Favorite kit is Lets Get Together. I love it so much I took pieces if the cardstock to the paint store and made them match garden green,buttercup, and cranberry. These are the colors in my scraproom. I can't waite to see what else you have up your sleeve. With every new Idea Book I am amazed that you still keep bringing such cool stuff for us to use and sell.

C'mon... just a little hint?? Can't wait. I have always wanted to ask this - when do you start planning for the next book and ideas? I would love to know more about when all these thoughts, ideas and planning really, I mean really.... start from. Would love to know more on the "inside" action. how about a cool blog on this.. pleeease...
