My daughter is my special friend, ally, and confidante. Last week, we celebrated Ashley’s birthday, and I wanted to make a special card for her—I looked no further than Close To My Heart’s own Art & Soul show. In the December 9 episode, Monica taught us how to make a beautiful card using the Perfect Day papers and some of my favorite stamping techniques, including base and shade. If you’d like to see it come together yourself, check out the Art & Soul show, at closetomyheart.com or on your Consultant’s MyCTMH site (a new episode launches December 23, but Monica’s card episode is the most recent one available for viewing right now.) This gorgeous card spoke to me and I knew it would be just the card to give to Ashley on her “Perfect Day.” Here’s to many more birthdays spent together, Ashley!
And in other news… a huge thanks to those of you who have shared your “paper passion” over the past week! I’ve loved reading your comments about your favorite paper packets and can’t wait to share the winners, which I’ve already drawn at random.
Check back tomorrow to see if your name has been chosen—and until then, have a perfect day yourself!

ReplyDeleteDearest Jeanette,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing all of your inspiration. This card and the art & soul that was coupled with it gave me the boost to my rushed Holiday order today as it touched my Mother. She was just so inspired and called to place her order with me to replicate it. What a treat to come home to ecspecially when we live 1400 miles or more apart from one another. Your blog and the magnificent oppurtunity of our Close To My Heart myctmh web-sites are consistently keeping my Mother and I creatively closer even through the miles we may be apart. Thank you again so much for sharing and giving us so many "Perfect Day"'s together!
