Here’s hoping your Valentine’s Day was sweet, special and full of memories. I spent my snowy Valentine’s Day with my children, grand-children and husband—starting with breakfast at a favorite restaurant, followed by a trip to the bookstore. It’s a tradition for us. We like to let the girls choose whatever books they want and this time it was especially fun because Noah and Belle were there to see what we do at the bookstore. Their exuberance around any festivity reminds me that holidays are always best spent with children, laughs, kisses and all. We took our time, enjoying the warm food, cozy bookstore, and relaxed company…an ideal way to spend a crisp, wintery morning, Valentine’s Day or not!
One of my favorite experiences this past week has been reading your Valentine’s memories—some so funny I laughed out loud, others made me well with emotion, and others still just reminded me what a blessing it is to love and be loved. Thank you, thank you to the nearly 200 posters who made a comment in the past week. I loved each and every one of your stories! To thank you, I’ve drawn 10 commenters at random to receive a free “That’s Amore” paper packet and coordinating MyStickease—consider it your belated valentine from me!
If you are a winner, please e-mail your mailing information to me@jeanettelynton.com. I’ll get your prize on its way immediately! Thanks for reading and thanks for sharing!
