Nothing turns heads like a circle—and I was spun around in circular delight when I spotted this great “Beautiful” card and envelope sent to the corporate office by Consultant Jody Gustafson of San Bernardino, California. The “envelope” is none other than a common CD sleeve, elevated to extraordinary with dotted paper from our “Silhouette” kit, a knot of ribbon and some great accessories, including a Pretty Pin and white Mini-Medleys. The card inside is hip and square, but uses the CD sleeve’s clear envelope window beautifully, with a great circle focus of stamped and embellished art. I loved it and couldn’t wait to experiment with this great idea.
My options used the “Unforgettable” and “Moon Doggie” kits and the same basic card design elements—square card, circle focus. I loved the results in all cases and had such fun with this idea. You run circles around creativity, Jody! Thanks for sending in your well-rounded artwork!

ReplyDeleteJeanette, My husband asked me what I want for my birthday (Aug 2). I told him I wanted to become a CTMH consultant, again. Breast cancer didn't kill me because I scrapped and scrapped. I organized, purchased more stuff from Marvel Carrol and scrapped some more. I miss the closeness of the the consultants. Thank you. I plan on going to the oncology department at Pennsylvania Hospital and explain how card making and scrapping saved my sanity. My daughter is an assistant there and thinks many people might benefit. You will see my application within hte week. I have missed you. Elaine Novak
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! I have a question though...can these be mailed? If so, does it require extra postage and would you address it on the opposite side of the opening?? I just love this idea!!!Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, When I mail these I just put them in a 5X7 envelope and if the weight is OK I use a regular postage stamp.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU!
