By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea! The colors of ocean and sky are what inspire today’s color combination, featuring photos from my friend Brian. Although Brian didn’t visit an ocean this summer, he did take the family to a fabulous pool in land-locked Utah and the glorious blue hues look great against my chosen backdrop of Ocean, Heavenly Blue, Crystal Blue, and Black. I think this combination is absolutely divine for photos around, with, or wishing for water, don’t you? What I love about this combination is how clean and simple it is—it feels fresh and fantastic and really keeps the focus on the photos. I only used the smallest snip of Background and Texture paper (on the layout), because the sweet tang of color in the cardstock conveys everything I hoped for: an easy, breezy, summer day.
Make a splash with your next card or layout with an Ocean escape that’s also beyond “Heavenly.” These blues are sure to brighten anybody’s day!
