One thing I love about Close To My Heart’s 60-color palette is its diversity. Although the colors are grouped into 10 smaller seasonal palettes for easy organization (two each for spring, summer, autumn, winter as well as two “basic” palettes), the colors can be mixed and matched across seasons for striking looks.
Our most recently updated palette features the Spring Blossom colors, and one of my faves is the new Crème Brulee. Its rich yellow can brighten virtually any project. Today, I plucked Crème Brulee out of Spring and dropped it into smack dab into a strong, dark palette consisting of Barn Red, Cocoa, and Twilight—all three of those colors are from a different palette, too! Note how the Crème Brulee adds just the right spark of sunshine wherever it goes. Big thanks to Consultant Michelle Nist whose baseball photos provided some end-of-summer sunshine to go along with this transitional color scheme!
