HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I hope you’re counting your blessings today, as I am. For this “Thankful Thursday”, I thought I’d state the obvious: I’m so thankful for GRATITUDE. I know that sounds odd, but it’s true. The attitude of gratitude has truly enriched my life, strengthened my character, and reminded me of how wonderful life is, even when it’s challenging.
Today, as I reflect on my grateful journey, I’m most appreciative of:
• My wonderful family and the sweet, cherished relationships I have with my husband, my children, and my grandchildren. I couldn’t ask for anything better!
• The opportunity to do the work I do, to contribute to others and help them reach their potential. Twenty-five years ago, I dreamed about a huge company that would touch many—I’m grateful every day for that dream and the realization that has become Close To My Heart.
• My health—without it, I wouldn’t be able to sustain my busy life!
• My fine colleagues. Not only are the employees of Close To My Heart talented and committed to this great company, they are also among my truest friends.
• The love of my Savior. I am grateful for my faith in His ultimate sacrifice and grateful for the peace in knowing He watches over me and my family.
• And I’m just getting started! As I muse on all my many blessings, I can only think of more and more to be grateful for. The list is never-ending. May you enjoy this special day—and may gratitude be the highlight of the holiday!

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving. I am so thankful, this is the first year I got to spend with 2 of my granddaughters, age 6 & 7 and my daughter since she was in high school. She is 27. I was so excited. My 7 yr old gd said the blessing. It made me cry. it was beautiful as she too was thankful I was there.
