Here it is: 2010! At the Lynton household, we celebrated by having more than a dozen teenagers over for food, fireworks and fun. It may not sound relaxing, but it was! I kept everything simple—my goal for the entire holiday season—and let my girls do all the planning. They did a great job and the kids were all wonderful guests.
I even made it to midnight, which if you know me, is a HUGE feat! I’m a natural lark, early to bed, early to rise, even on New Year’s Eve. But this year, I got going on my favorite game ever (“Bookworm” for the iPhone—I racked up nearly one million points; if you have an iPhone, you need to try this game!), and precisely at midnight, David and I exchanged a kiss.
We both believe that 2010 will be our “happy year.” I can’t explain why, because it isn’t a single thing, it’s everything together that looks promising—home, health, family, and business. It’s going to be a great year, I can feel it. May 2010 be a “happy year” for you, too!
