Some people believe there is nothing finer than a great vacation. I say there is nothing like COMING HOME after a great vacation!
For much of January, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to travel to New Zealand—one week with our top achievers at Close To My Heart on the south island, and several days afterward exploring the beauty of the north island with David. The trip was absolutely divine: glorious weather, breathtaking vistas, delicious local fare, deluxe accommodations and a LOT of time on an airplane. It was worth every second!
But the best end to any adventure is opening your own front door. I’m now back home, enjoying the wonderful wintry weather, the breathtaking beauty of our Utah mountains, home cooking, the comfort of my own bed, and driving my own car (on the right side of the road, no less!).
It feels great to be back with family and co-workers. At Close To My Heart, we’re already hard at work finalizing our next great catalog for summer and planning a wonderful Convention. There is always so much to do!
Starting next week, I’ll be blogging and sharing the details of our trip to New Zealand, including some favorite photos. . . as soon as I finish sorting them all, of course. Until then, Kia Ora!
