Time To Play, Time To Say Thanks

This week, we held our annual summer party, which is honestly one of the most fun days of the year. I love greeting each employee as they enter and meeting their families—and all the darling new family members added since our previous year! It reminds me that making Close To My Heart work is truly a team effort, including the “home team” of spouses, children, and extended families and friends that support the employee in all he or she does.

Our event is held at a local amusement park, which is a blast for everyone—arcade games, bumper boats, go-karts, and laser tag for the truly adventurous, plus great food and bottomless sodas (the best part, according to some!). It is a great day for play and also a wonderful opportunity to thank each member of my great team for the work they do year-round. Thanks to each and every Close To My Heart employee... I wouldn’t want to do this without you!
