It's here! Convention season is upon us again, and my team and I are set to board a plane bound for California. Our bags and boxes are packed and loaded with surprises, projects, and literally thousands of dollars in prizes and giveaways. They say that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, and starting Wednesday, it's about to get even happier!
I plan to be immersed in every moment—either onstage or scurrying around backstage—so you won't hear from me on the blog for a while. But we'll have great staffers tweeting and posting Facebook updates all throughout the event, and I'm sure Consultants will be too (typically right from the ballroom, you rascals—you know who you are!)
If you're attending, hold on to your Mickey ears, because this is going to be the party of the year. If you aren't joining us, then make a plan for 2012--THAT Convention countdown clock is already ticking! Convention really is the most fun you can have in three days with no sleep (and who needs sleep when you can play?). See you there!

ReplyDeleteI am sooo excited haven't been sleeping for weeks and I have been packing for just as long to make sure I checked and re-checked every detail :) I will be there tomorrow morning!!! YAY :) to no sleep till Sunday!!
ReplyDeleteThis is my FIRST missed Convention in 8 years and I'm really emotional about it...my husband is even making fun of me :0( I can't wait to hear all the exciting news via e-mail, texts, twitter and facebook but hearing it second-hand will NEVER COMPARE to the excitement of hearing for the first time in those big conference rooms with 1500 consultants screaming at the top of their lungs!!! Oh...and not to mention the PRIZES and the GOODIES and all the perks convention-goers receive! I'm hoping my Fairy-Godmother comes to rescue me and makes me a fly on the wall! Wishes do come true, right!

ReplyDeleteIt was a fun time for all. I loved every minute of it. Getting to see you for the first time in person was great. The videos and the skits were the best. I came home with lots in info and make n takes, and did I mention all the goodies. I can't wait for Dallas, Texas now. LOL!
