Answer: I definitely have a sound track for life! Whether I'm driving, at the office, or at home, I do like to have music or television on. I'm a sponge for information and activity, and those who know me recognize that I'm a huge news junkie. At home, I almost always have a news channel on so I can listen to debate, commentary, and breaking information. I love being in touch with what's happening in the country and the world. Information leads to inspiration, in my book.
When I'm really concentrating on a task or a project, I need something that's a little less bold and a little more background, and that's where some of my favorite tunes come in. I have pretty eclectic tastes, and can listen to anything from the Black-Eyed Peas to Handel's Messiah, but when I'm creating, I gravitate to my favorite '70s music: Earth, Wind & Fire; the Doobie Brothers; Bread; even Janis Joplin.

ReplyDeleteI usually start my daily crafting around 10 a.m. and that's when I'm drinking my first cup of coffee, so I'm not FULLY awake.
ReplyDeleteI do listen to "Dave Pratt Live" on my android app (http://www.daveprattlive.com) which to Phoenix AZ people he's been a radio personality for over 30 years now.
I too like to have background and am a news junkie. The only music I am not fond of is Rap, however I like classical when I am concentrating hard on my creation.
