Question: What is your favorite technique to use in scrapbooking? --submitted by Rene Roush, August 26, 4:56 pm
Answer: It may not be a surprise, but my favorite scrapbooking technique is stamping. I've always loved blending the two! I love having coordinating inks that can tie virtually any B&T or cardstock together with a stamped image, or adding ink edge distsressing (sponging, swiping, stippling, paintbrushing) to paper pieces so that everything feels more cohesive.
Not surprisingly, I'm currently LOVING how the Art Philosophy Cricut-cut shapes elevate virtually any scrapbook layout. I love swapping out a journaling box for a journaling bracket. Or adding a scalloped border in place of a straight strip, or matting a photo on a fun shape. It's a way to use the patterns I know and love, but give them a fun new twist!
