Spotlight on Art: Let’s Go to the Movies

The response to my favorite new product, the Cricut Artiste collection, has been phenomenal already. I’m glad you love it as much as I do! One of the biggest reasons behind the Artiste’s popularity is its themed keys. Today’s spotlight artwork from the studio will be showcasing one of the Artiste’s keys that is loaded with fun. It’s the M key – M for Movies!

The old time mustaches, the film strip, the journaling shape, and even the "Movie Night" title on this layout are all cut using different feature keys on this one key. Fun, isn’t it? I like that touch of "silver screen" glamor added by the strip of silver shimmer trim on this page.

For get-togethers, this ticket invitation and the coordinating sleeve are sure to fit the bill. You could use this ticket shape for a variety of invitations, whether it really is a movie night with friends or a baby shower. It would also make a darling interactive journaling piece on a layout.

And what would a movie night be without popcorn? The beauty of each of these shapes is that they work so perfectly together, but can each branch out and fill a variety of needs in completely different contexts. Artiste makes it easy for you to have seamlessly themed items, while also giving you hundreds of flexible, fun shapes. The more I see of it, the more I love it!

You and the team at CTMH corporate knocked it out of the ball park when you created Artiste! It lives in my machine and only gets popped out when big sister Art Philosophy is needed. I adore all the themed keys and the amazing array of 3-D items you've given us to play with - its like a shot of creative adrenaline every time I sit down to play!
