Spotlight on Art: School is Here

Today’s artwork shows off more of the fun shapes on the Artiste. The shapes from the “T” key work wonderfully when paired with the School is Here stamp set (B1407) in this back to school artwork.

Taken separately, the road signs and traffic light don’t shout “back to school,” but in the context of this layout, they fit right in! The apple image from the stamp set makes a great pattern on the honey Cardstock, and the Heart school sentiment provides the perfect caption for that adorable picture. The Artiste shapes are really the icing on this layout.

There are so many fun cards to make using the Artiste cartridge. I love how this back-to school card with wrap accentuates this bright color scheme, with the Honey cardstock peeking through the Lagoon wrapper. And the apple image makes a simple, wordless statement so effectively. You can really make such simplicity shine when you’ve got fun card formats to work with.
