ReplyDeleteThe Later Sk8tr kit is on my wish list. I am looking forward to getting all those soccer photos from last season scrapped, as well as using some of the small cards to create messages of encouragement for the kiddos during the upcoming season!

ReplyDeleteMy Mother just passed away and I have boxes of her photos - they are priceless, but will take me forever to sort through. I started making a layout of my Mom's life with the Balloon Ride WOTG and had just ordered the Balloon Ride PML. What I realized when I got the PML kit is that I can now go ahead and start scrapping the photos from her childhood as I come across them using PML. If I later find other photos that make me want to arrange them in a different order it's easy to do. I plan to mix the PML pages with traditional 12 x 12 pages - I finally feel freed up enough to start!

ReplyDeleteI love all the PML kits, they are all so versatile, and all unique on their own. I love that some of the kits pallets will work well with other kits as well. I am at a toss up between Skylark and Balloon Ride, so I'd be happy with either, but if I had to make a choice, I'd choose Balloon Ride because I love the vintage feel. ReplyDeleteSo far Laughing Lola is my favorite because I happened to be catching up on school layouts for my daughter! Many of her outfits matched the paper so I was very excited to see that the sentiments on the cards were school themed.

ReplyDeleteWith the birth of 7 yes 7 new babies in our extended family, Baby Cakes is perfect. I have one already and know another one will soon need to be ordered. Pockets for Madison, Jackson, Lily, Isobel, Daniella, Colton and Isabella all deserve these gorgeous accents. And yes there is another one on the way... baby shower April...... may use this theme.....
ReplyDeleteI love them all but Chantilly has to be my favourite. I loved that paper pack and stocked up before it was sold out! The colours are so beautiful together and they include some of my favourite colours in our palette (Pear, Cotton Candy). I have done a lot of projects with this paper and would love to try out the PML program as well :)
ReplyDeleteI love Balloon Ride. It makes me want to float away and travel to far away places. My eldest son was a hot air balloon fanatic when he was little and this kit brought back some fond memories.
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be Balloon Ride. I am hoping to retire in the next few years and then I want to travel and see the world. One of the cards in this set says "The most beautiful thing in the world is of course the world itself". I love that, because that is how I feel! There is so much beauty in our world and I want to see and scrapbook it all!

ReplyDeleteI really like the Balloon Ride. It is soft and summery and reminds me of a slower time. It is whimsical while also being classic. I love the subtle colors - it's a keeper.

ReplyDeleteI already have Surf's Up so next for me will be Laughing Lola as I have 2 daughter's aged 17 and 11. Perfect for them. We camp a lot and spend time at the beach so Surf's Up is going to get a load of pics in my album :)

ReplyDeleteI already have two if my favourites, Later Sk8r and Skylark but my other favourite is Avonlea. I still have some of the paper and accessories from the original Avonlea and love how well it goes with my home decor. I think the PML is great to use in so many ways and would love to have more of them.
ReplyDeleteOur daughter Courtenay is currently in the RN Nursing program in our local collage and only has 1 1/2 years left at home before she will travel to the University of Victoria for her last year. I'm already feeling the pains of 'Empty Nest Syndrome" so I'm sure I will be a wreck when she goes!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure when people see the Picture My Life Chantilly Scrapbooking Program, many will think 'baby girls' but I see it as a way to honor my daughter, her achievements and her future. Courtenay is REALLY a "giggle wrapped in sunshine" & she will "Grow" into a spectacular nurse and we tell her daily "don't forget to be AWESOME" and "BE YOU {TIFUL}". Her giving heart just shines!

My first sons album took me 3 years to complete and it isn't nearly as organized. This album I am keeping up and it is only one month behind!! It is fabulous for this busy mom of two gorgeous boys!!!

ReplyDeleteI see Skylark as a wonderful tribute to my Mom's life. She was a farm wife who loved to be outdoors. I remember helping her pick raspberries one afternoon ( I was about 5 or 6 years old) when we discovered a bird's nest deep inside the tangled mess. Mom told me to leave the berries around it so that the mommy bird could feed her babies. That nest remained undisturbed for many years and every spring we could hear the babies inside. Mom would make "bird tarts" with the raspberries every year to celebrate another successful raising of the birds.

ReplyDeleteI love these Scrapbooking kits! I think of quick and easy albums that I am able to actually finish! I especially want to use a kit to make a baby album for my sister who is expecting this summer! That way she can print and place her photos in the pocket pages when she is ready!

ReplyDeleteI'm originally from Seattle and our sports teams tend toward the green & blue combination... so although I'm not athletic, I love the Later Sk8r PML cards. I've already started an album which so far features my daughter painting the Seattle Sounders logo on our corn holes. This set is PERFECT for me!
ReplyDeleteAll the kits are so beautiful and my favorite one is "Balloon Ride" I love the old world feel about this kit and I know that it will be perfect for my trip to Paris a couple years ago and I am also making an album using this kit for my nephew and his fiance who got engaged in Paris this past Fall. Love our new PML programs!!
ReplyDeleteI just received the Baby Cakes set and love it. I'm going to use it to make albums using the photos I've collected over the past six years of my grandchildren. As a cardmaker, it has been like pulling teeth for me to get started scrapbooking, but this program makes it look EASY! L8ter Sk8ter is next on my list. It will be perfect for my grandson's latest pics. And when I've completed that, I'll get Chantilly. They'll be perfect for my granddaughter's pics.

My favorite one is "Babycakes." I've already started my son's baby album using the Babycakes Workshop on the Go and Studio J layouts. The PML program will help me fill in the gaps and add some variety to the pages in his first album.

ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful product line and I love them all but I'm most in love with the Chantilly. My friend is having a baby girl this year and I am going to get her this set. I think all the sets have such great themes that can touch so many different stories.
ReplyDeleteHard to chose just one....I think I would go with Avonlea. I loved the paper packet when it was available and am glad to see the gorgeous patterns and colours back in Picture My Life.
ReplyDeleteI would choose Julibee or Timberline. Oh wait, you don't have those two. Next, I would choose Babycakes, but - I don't have babies. So I chose Surf's Up, but am finding it is much more travel/trip oriented than I expected. I would love Balloon Ride, but am afraid it's also very travel-oriented. I'm looking for a generic set that can fit all the pictures we take as a family - I have a son who's not into sports so ltr skr doesn't work, although the colors are great. Chantilly won't work because I have a boy or boys in most of my pictures. I need a set that will work with everyday life - animals (the farm type here for us - pigs, goats, chicken and cows and an occasional dog or bird.), visiting cousins & grandparents or them visiting us, treehouses, camping, playing games at home, playing at the park, hiking, getting scouting awards, piano recitals, things like that. Whatever set would go with that, that's the one I want! (like I said, Julibee!!) I guess I'd go with either Avonlea or Skylark... or Balloon Ride. (you seriously think we can pick just one? HA!)
ReplyDeleteYou know, when I was nudged into scrapbooking when pregnant with my son (12 years ago! how time flies!) I pictured what I wanted, and I wanted photo pocket pages that I could slip photos in, mixed in with some traditional scrapbooked pages. Could not find it. Decided to create my own 8.5x11 mix of scrapbooking my way but gave up and went to 12x12. So for all these years I have some 12x12 pages -not nearly as many as I should or want.
ReplyDeleteNow, here's PML - THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT!!!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am! The hard part now is choosing which ones would go with the mix of pictures we have. I would love to win Babycakes or Skylark (I already got Surf's Up - love it but it's a bit more travel-themed than I need - wondering if Balloon Ride is the same way?) I also would love Avonlea. Wish you had Timberline or Julibee - we have two (yes TWO) family reunions in or near Yellowstone this summer. Those would be perfect for the two family reunions.
Since my Grand daughter is my favorite theme, I LOVE the Chantilly. It screams little girl. I would love to see that paper packet broght back too. But it definitely is on my wish list to get this Picture My Life package. I want to get it for my daughter-in-law since she doesn't have a lot of time for scrapbooking. This is the best of both worlds, putting pictures in a album and making it look like a scrapbook, Perfect for those working Moms.

And how versatile the cards are to use for other things as well, like clipping them on the decor frames with pics... ReplyDeleteI love Chantilly and would love to use them with my wedding shower pictures! We had a southern style dress tea party with everyone wearing southern style hats!! Colors of Chantilly would Max perfectly!

ReplyDeletei have purchased kits like these from other retailers but am so excited that CTMH has them because i can use them along with paper and other embellishments that i know will match. my favorite now is avonlea, with chantilly and later sk8er close behind. i would love to see lollydoodle made into a PML kit. it is my favorite paper from CTMH ever and i have been a customer for 12 years. thanks for the chance to win.

ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to choose just one! I love Skylark. It makes me think of spring and better weather. Goodness knows with all of the snow we havw had this winter we certainly all could use some Skylark in our lives and scrapbooks!

ReplyDeleteBalloon Ride is perfect for my vacation album last (european) summer. I still think the cards need to be sold separately to the protectors so we can mix and match more.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is the perfect program for new moms with busy hands and schedules! I have several friends who have new or little babies that I am recommending it to, so they can still capture all those precious memories beautifully without spending a ton of time. So of course Babycakes lends itself to this concept!
ReplyDeleteThree of the sets immediately appealed to me, but Balloon Ride would have to be my favourite. The colour palette used is beautiful and it exudes a lovely vintage feel. I can see it being used not only to tell a travel story but also to document many of the very old family photos we must all surely have.
ReplyDeleteI would love the balloon ride. As I look at those papers I am drawn to pictures of my family, my grandparents, my parents when young, and extended uncles, aunts, cousins.... The balloon is so perfect for this type of album. My father and mother allowed me to soar!

ReplyDeleteThe sayings about family in Avonlea are my favorite ... along with the colors. I take soooo many random pictures of day to day life. Of course in the end I will have them all and that includes the sets will come out in the future. I can't call one favorite.

ReplyDeleteWhy did you make us pick? So hard to do. I would have to pick "Surf's Up" since I will be spending my summers with my kids and grandkids. They live in different states and its hard to get to see them all the time. I'm hoping that spending summers with them will help my heart.
ReplyDeleteI love the Avonlea one because so much of my scrapbooks is about my family and preserving our memories! These fit in well with my other level 2 and 3 pages for a perfect mix and match!

ReplyDeleteI love all the PML kits but I will be starting with the Skylark kit. When I think of the colors and images in that kit, I picture my having my son's scrapbook completed and sharing it with my family. My son Christopher passed away almost 9 years ago and he is the main reason I got into scrapbooking a couple of years ago. Because he had seizures we couldn't take a whole lot of pictures so every one we do have is *extremely* precious to us, and I have been dabbling and perfecting my skills and am just now emotionally ready to sort and scrap those wonderful memories. I know the beauty and versatility of this program will help me finally break through that hurdle of getting started and helping me get this labor of love DONE. I will probably use a mix of several kits but I will definitely be starting with the Skylark set, I already have some layout sketches and embellishments started as he was "all boy" despite being severely disabled and he loved all manner of creatures, so the "nature" feel of this kit is especially appealing to me.

ReplyDeleteI really adore all of the Picture My Life Kits and would be thrilled with all of them. I am just starting an album for my youngest sister who, at 42 years old, with a grown 19 year old daughter, just adopted a beautiful baby boy. I would love to have the Babycakes Picture My Life kit to help get the album for Landon done faster, simpler and beautifully!

ReplyDeleteI am using the Skylark PML kit right now to get some older photos done. I will do 12x12 pages as well as I find a picture or pictures that need that special touch. I have bought the paper pack to match so it will be easy to do this. I really like the Chantilly...... well all of them. Another surf's up possibly.
