  10. This is one of those "well duh" comments but, my scrapbook fundamental is our card stock. I can't start a layout without it. It's the right weight, the perfect colors and cuts beautifully in a trimmer, Cricut or with a punch.

  11. I cannot live without our white core coloured cardstock...I love it because I can easily distress the edges and leave them white as a unique border or ink them for a ragged look. I can also emboss a design and sand the cardstock for a fun spots of white look.
Thanks for the opportunity, Jeannette. Love CTMH and all the CTMH family.

Pretty well every thing I create has ink on it, whether it is stamped or for distressing. Love my CTMH products, I'd take them to bed with me, but I think my hubby might actually object to that one.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  80. My fundamental item is the CTMH paper pack. I'm seriously challenged in the areas of fashion and color coordination. I would never have started scrapbooking if I had just looked at papers at the local craft store. I can make pages that others say "Wow I could never do that!" I say "If I can, you can! Let me show you how!" This nerdy certified public accountant can now say CPA stands for Cut, Paste and Accessorize!

    ReplyDelete
  81. If I must chose just one fundamental CTMH product, it would be the Workshops on the Go kits. I love how everything coordinates and all I need to add us ink and adhesive. They are perfect for busy scrapbookers!

    ReplyDelete
  88. My favorite fundamental tool has been our CTMH flip flaps. I have been using them on a lot of layouts. It sure saves on doing multiple layouts for one event.

    ReplyDelete
  89. My Scrapbooking Fundamental is the large selection of beautiful inks. They add so much to a page paired with all the lovely stamp sets.

I was a VERY poor college student and it took me 5 years before I could afford my own ($10 with a coupon!). I'm glad those days are behind me, but I still can't live without my trimmer!

    ReplyDelete
  94. My most fundamental items are the Cricut Collections OMG !!! Use them in everything I do --- Love Love Love them!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  95. I love the Cricut cartridges. I am making a mini album with Art Booking. I prepped cards for my card making group with Artiste and Art Philosophy. ReplyDelete
  98. My fundamental item for scrapbooking would be the perfect paper! And that is why I have so much of it!

    ReplyDelete
  102. I have to have my paper trimmer for every single scrapbook page!!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  106. My basic fundamental I couldn't live without is Liquid Glass. It is so versatile and great for using on rolled flowers, adhering paper to the decor items and adding some shine onto projects. I am on my third bottle since starting last August in New Zealand.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Gotta have my CTMH ruler whenever I scrapbook. I'm constantly measuring ... you know what they say, "measure twice, cut once".

    ReplyDelete
  108. My fundamental is definitely the Versamat...love that I can use it for measuring, cutting and flip it over for stamping. The numbers printed on it make it the best!!! Love my Versamat and almost every single one of my customers has bought one since seeing mine (I just joned in Feb)!

    ReplyDelete
  109. My fundamental item would have to be the inks. I love to ink everything and stamping is just a bonus! I love how the ink, cardstock and papers all coordinate. Mixing and matching is so easy. My 11 yr old son likes to stamp but he really loves to clean the stamps! He will create a card or note for any and everyone just to use the stamps. My 14 yr old daughter loves to create. She loves all things purple so the new colors are her favorite. She can't wait for our order to get here so she can start making cards and layouts. CTMH has the products that make it easy for all ages to scrapbook, make cards or just be creative!

    ReplyDelete
  110. My go to for scrap booking is the Artbooking Cricut cartridge. I love all of the CTMH carts, but Artbooking makes creating layouts so easy with the themed and proportional layouts. I primarily make cards and decor items so I love the ease of use of Artbooking.

    ReplyDelete
  111. My scrapbooking fundamentals are the CTMH acrylic blocks for stamping. I am an acrylic block snob, ok? I admit it! There just are no other blocks on the market as great as the CTMH blocks. I love the finger grooves that make them easy to grasp AND keep your fingers out of the ink. I mean, I have no problem getting inky when necessary, but when you only want ink on your stamps and not on your fingers, you want to reach for the CTMH blocks! They rock! I couldn't live without them!

    ReplyDelete
  112. How can I choose one Fundamental item for scrapbooking...especially CTMH products? I would have to have a top 3 pick...1. my trusty trimmer...can't cut a straight line to save myself! 2. Any CTMH paper..it's awesome!!!! and 3. My CTMH cricut cartridges...all of them! All of these make me happy and make my projects awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  113. It has to be my paper trimmer. Every project begins with me cutting my paper!

    ReplyDelete
  114. CTMH cardstock - it works so great in the Cricut

    ReplyDelete
  115. I just love my CTMH Cricut cartridges! I don't know what I'd do without them!

    ReplyDelete
  116. My must-have fundamental is the versamat. I'm happiest when I have my measuring, cutting, and stamping surfaces handy at all times!

    ReplyDelete
  117. I use my CTMH pattern books all the time and of course paper packs that are already coordinated for me so my pages look good.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Wow, so tough to decide what my favorite is!!! I narrowed it down to three.....1) my CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge, I just love how versatile it is!! 2) liquid glass, I love adding a little shine to elements of my pages! 3) CTMH YouTube videos......I can always go there for inspiration!!!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Paper Packs! It all starts with great paper :) ...then all the CTMH items: stamps, inks, tools, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Everything!! How to choose between all the wonderful products CTMH carries? I guess I would have to go with the paper, because no matter what type of project I am working on - and whether I use micro-tip scissors, a paper trimmer, or one of the fabulous CTMH Cricut cartridges - it all uses paper! LOVE the Fundamentals! Those colors really POP on the black background!

    ReplyDelete
  121. My Fundamental Basic is the versa-mat. I use it for my layouts to line up my photos.

    ReplyDelete
  122. After scrolling though all the comments, I was surprised that I didn't see the CTMH tweezers. After purchasing these AWESOME tweezers, I use them in every project I make, they are the BEST on the market as no others have such a tiny fine point to pick up itsy bitsy pieces. Can't start a project without those always next to my mat. I use them to place items, hold items for adding adhesive, and pulling off tiny bling embellishments to place on projects.

Each product, no matter how small or large, plays a vital and important role, in allowing me and my customers to bring out our creativity. I know I have to pick one, but honestly, they are all important in my eyes. This is one reason why, I became a consultant. It wasn't just one product that caught my attention; it was all of them. 158. My paper trimmer, believe it or not. I cannot scrapbook without it. I cannot cut a straight line and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. It really annoys me to not have the right tools on hand when creating a project. Recently I had to create 2 memory boards for 2 different funerals...I was not "home" with my tools/supplies. It was then that I learned I could not stand to create without my paper trimmer. I HAVE to HAVE it. ;)

  166. Hands down, my fundamental item is Close to My Heart's exceptional grade cardstock and background and texture paper. As a die hard card maker, I had no desire to make scrapbook pages until DOTS turned over to CTMH and introduced me to the craft. At a new catalog celebration some consultants demonstrated the ease of using the coordinating papers and elements. Although I have tried other brands, kits, gone to classes, etc. I have given away or sold it all. Seriously, if you look in my albums, that's all I have used. My current consultant recently had a class where we "scrapped our stash" and used the newer wood grain paper with older lines, some as far back as 2003!) Thank you Jeanette for always bringing in new items, but keeping the old faithful fundamentals!
