When You Wish…

Many of you have remarked on the all-new how-to book we’ll be launching in our Summer catalog. I can hardly wait to share it with you! It’s called “Wishes,” and it contains 109 brand-new patterns, which includes three complete “card workshops.” These “card workshops” are specifically designed to help you make bulk cards faster, simpler, easier. It also emphasizes unique ROUND card patterns and a template CD to make these circles spectacular. Imagine the fun of receiving a cool, round card! Even better, imagine the fun of creating one!

I know you haven’t had a chance to see the new book yet, but I can vouch for it—it’s beautiful! I received the first copy from the printer a few weeks ago, and I poured over the book all afternoon revisiting each piece of artwork and every fun pattern. I know, I know—I’m the author, but I’m just so excited about the book. I’m happy to say that the printer plans to deliver the books to our warehouse sooner than expected, so we should be able to ship them to you much earlier than the announced June release (it’s a wish come true!).

If you’re wondering why I chose to name the book “Wishes,” that’s a multi-part answer. First of all, I believe that to love someone means that you “wish someone well,” in every aspect of their life. We send get-well wishes, birthday wishes, holiday wishes, friendship wishes and so many more to convey our love for someone. Naming the book “Wishes,” therefore, seemed an obvious choice. But secondly, I recognized my wish for every crafter—to be able to consistently, easily create gorgeous artwork they can be proud of. Over the years, many people have told me that they aren’t creative, or that designing cards leaves them confused. They WISH it were faster, simpler, easier but didn’t know how. With this book, I hoped to be able to grant your wish for creative inspiration while also fulfilling my wish for each of you that you’d find renewed passion and confidence in card-making.
