A “Twilight” Halloween

I’ve been a fan of Twilight for the past several years—but perhaps not the “Twilight” you’re thinking of! I’m wild for this rich, unique blue introduced into the Close To My Heart color palette before the book of the same name became a sensation. But because both Twilights are a perfect complement to Halloween, I’m kicking off October with some fresh—yet still totally spooky—combinations to help you haunt in bright, colorful ways!

Today’s Halloween treat uses Twilight, Clover Meadow, Sunflower, and Black for a bright, trendy look at holiday décor. From a witch’s hat to doorknob signs, each element is decidedly Halloween, even though it uses nontraditional colors. I especially love my “Spooky” sign, which is nothing more than cardstock hung with ribbon and trimmed with stamped images, Dimensional Elements and related embellishments, and squares of coordinating Background and Texture paper. It’s almost SCARY how fast this project comes together. Happy haunting and stay tuned in the coming weeks for more colorful tricks to make your Halloween a treat!
